The furniture company Babi Italia has been manufacturing cribs for more than 15 years. It is an Italian company that has become increasingly popular in the United States. Pali cribs, for example, are less widely distributed and the delivery time for a Pali convertible crib can take up to three months. So if availability and delivery time are important to you, Babi Italia is highly rated.
In addition, the Babi Italia Pinehurst can be easily converted from a crib to a bed; no reassembly required, conversion is accomplished by simply removing 4 bolts. Other brands require much more effort.
One thing that disappoints about its convertible crib is that it does not come with a narrow rail. All other brands mentioned above come with an optional narrow rail – the Pali West Point crib looks exceptionally nice with this feature. However, this optional extra may be less of a concern for many parents.
If you choose a Babi Italia Pinehurst crib over any other brand, it will probably come down to looks. If the style of one brand is more beautiful than that of another it is a subjective matter: beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. But Pinehurst is a beautiful crib and it is well built and you can be sure that you will buy one of the best cribs in this price range.
