God’s intention for every believer is that they continue to mature spiritually as they get to know him better. God knows how to use you for his kingdom purposes so that your life can keep flowing over and over again. His Word is your life, his Word changes you. The Scriptures say that people will be set free, not by good sermons, but by God’s Truth.
When you are in Christ, old things pass away. Only the Light of Jesus can do this for you. The darker your life, the greater the need for light. God wants other people to see the Light of Jesus in you. He wants a love relationship with you! His power will flow through you to accomplish his will in a greater way. The darkness will leave you and you will begin to walk in the ways of Jesus. Are you a servant of Jesus Christ or a servant of your flesh?
You see, what I am teaching you today is… when you are walking in the Light of Jesus, you are no longer the same person. You dedicate your life, your heart, your gifts, your time and your mind. The Holy Spirit directs you to follow Jesus! If you are walking in the dark, He urgently and continually calls you to turn around.
Only those who live in Jesus Christ have the Light! You are going to have to believe that He is within you and ready to work through you. Hallelujah! You let the Word of God take over completely and change the way you live your life. Yes, fill your spirit with so many Bible Truths that you naturally begin to walk in the Light of Jesus.
Those who have experienced a true rebirth can no longer go with the world. Jesus wants to make all things new in you, but you must tell him YES. I am talking about the commitment of a constant time with God. You take your eyes off the world and turn your focus to Jesus.
When you are walking in the light, the more you want to praise the Lord. The Lord is your life and He is patient with you and kind to you. You are hungry to know him better, you are no longer the same person.
You are content to spend time with God and ask Him to do what is necessary in you so that you can reach a new place spiritually with Him. How did Jesus live? In obedience to God! It is both the privilege and the duty of every Christian to seek godliness. As? A God-centered lifestyle.
A Christian character that comes from a devotion to God. Here is a spiritual secret from me to you. You must constantly expose yourself to the teaching of God’s Word if you want to grow in godliness. You will recognize the Spirit becoming more and more of a godly person. The fire of the Holy Spirit begins to shine on you, through you and around you. Praise the Lord! A Child of the Light walks with God in the Light. Now, he raises his hands and say, I’m not the same anymore, I walk with Jesus!
