To do this, a highly detailed photograph of the wood grain or tile lines is glued to the top surface of the tabletop using melamine, an extremely hard resin. To enhance the impression of natural material, a structure imitating wood grain or tile lines is also pressed into the top layer to exactly match the visual pattern. Therefore, the surface of the board not only looks good, but it has the texture of the real material and is practically indistinguishable from it. The top layer of the laminate is a hard, clear coating for added protection.

Quick Step laminate flooring comes in various colors and patterns. For example, Rustic is so close to real wood planks that it’s hard to tell the difference. Country also has a realistic wood grain that could fool all but the closest observers. In addition to the wood grain, many of the patterns have realistic grooves that mimic planks. There are tile patterns like Art and the traditional Quadra, while Go has the grain but lacks the grooves. Almost every variation is represented here, providing something for every taste.
Quick Step daily maintenance consists of dry sweeping loose dust and dirt. There is also the Quick Step maintenance kit that uses a dual method, first cleaning dry and then slightly damp. Microfiber cloths are recommended for more intensive cleaning with a Quick Step cleaning product. For those patterns with beveled grooves, dry clean only is recommended.
