A child has a distributed time for school and home, so it is distributed between parents and teachers. We can say that parents and teachers play a very important role in shaping the future of the child. Education is basically a process that leads to the mental and psychological growth of a child. In addition to learning academics, a child learns other things like teamwork, table manners, sharing, unity, teamwork. A school is a form of institute for a child; some say that parents are the child’s first teachers, however, I feel that teachers are the child’s second parents. From kindergarten a child is delivered to the teachers and the teachers nurture him and give him loving support and good manners.
Parents, on the other hand, are responsible for the overall development of the child; They play a very important role in the child’s socialization process. From bedtime stories to behavioral habits, parents play a huge role in making a child a responsible citizen. A successful teacher always listens carefully to parents. Said teacher usually asks the parents about the child’s behavior, her habits and activities and behaves accordingly with him; she is responsible for her growth and development and therefore tries to bring out the best in him. She is always alert to the child’s family cultures and values and so she tries not to comment or make any judgments about parenting styles. She thinks widely and makes sure that at any moment she cannot hurt the mind of the child. Communication is the best way to solve problems. A successful teacher is always willing to talk to students and solve their problems, she is always accessible to almost all the children in the class. Instead of blaming the child for not completing a particular thing or for being unable to work on a particular project or getting bad grades, she tries to find out the reason behind the child’s failure or incompetence.
A successful parent, on the other hand, always takes note of the suggestions that the teacher has given him. Such parents try to interpret for themselves the suggestion given by the teachers and instill it in the upbringing of the children, which in turn results in their growth. Over pampering or moderating both results in poor child development. Over-pampering makes the child overconfident, resulting in underdevelopment of the child, while over-tempering makes the child underconfident, which may result in the child’s mental confusion, which also results in the underdevelopment of the child.
Stacia Tauscher remarkably said: “We worry about what a child will be tomorrow, but we forget that he is someone today.” A child is the hope of tomorrow, however, one must never forget that their today shapes their tomorrow. The amount of pressure and mental trauma the child faces results in his underdevelopment and ruins his morning. A joint venture of parents and teachers helps shape a child’s future, develops her and enhances her intellect. A child raised by such successful parents and teachers brings out the best in him.
