Let’s face it, diet and exercise are not enjoyable. It takes a long time and it is difficult. The only way I can diet is to plan ahead what I’m going to eat and pack it up and take it to work with me. Doing all of that takes time away from other things that need to be done, not to mention sometimes I’m too tired to care. I need quick weight loss tips that don’t require extra time or energy.

Here are some things that I have found to be quick weight loss tips. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator is something I know I can incorporate into my daily routine. If it’s just a couple of flights, it’s not a big deal and I’m not really my own. Obviously I wouldn’t do that for a ten flight trip unless I wanted to be 15 minutes late every day!

Another trick that I can implement in my routine is to park further away. When I was younger, I used to drive up and down looking for the perfect parking spot nearby. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that not only does it get me to the building faster by parking farther away (i.e. no perfect spot search), it also helps me lose weight. My husband enjoys this too because he says it helps prevent car dents and dings!

Quick Weight Loss Tip Number Three: Use a lawn mower to cut your grass. Now this isn’t the easiest quick weight loss trick I’ve ever used, but it sure is a good workout while doing something that has to be done anyway. I usually end up taking a few cold water breaks. But it makes me feel good to see what I’ve accomplished and to smell the freshly cut grass after I’ve burned some serious calories.

Taking the kids for a bike ride to the park is another quick weight loss tip that I use as a quick weight loss tip. Biking is a good calorie burner not to mention something fun to do with the kids. And once we get to the park, I end up chasing the kids around and playing with them, which is also a fantastic calorie burner.
