We fix the doghouse in a few hours. If I had no plans to build a doghouse it would have taken ten times as long and cost more. It probably would have needed extra lumber to correct all the mistakes it would have made.
In fact, I learned a lot from the plans that I did not know before, as if you made the entrance in a big way, the dog would not use the house because it would not stand the heat either. A simple solution for a dog shelter is to find some good quality plans for building a dog house.
