Network Marketing Success Secret – How do you see yourself?

You say you want to be a network marketing rock star. You say you want to make $20,000 a month from your home business. So why aren’t you there yet? This article will cover a key component to achieving the network marketing success you so desire. What is that component? How do you see yourself?

How do you see yourself?

Many people in our industry are not new. In fact, statistics tell us that the average network marketer has been with at least 4 different companies. Another interesting statistic is that the average heavyweight network marketer, those who make $20,000 a month or more, have failed at least 3 networking opportunities in the past. Then something magical happens, the switch is flipped, and they start producing results like never before.

The question is, “What produced that change?” Was it a new company? Maybe. Was it a new mentor? Again, maybe. Was it a new product that got them excited enough to get past the failure phase? That can also be a maybe. There can be many possibilities when trying to figure out what makes a single failure (or even several) into an “overnight success.”

But, having said that, here is a certainty. When you look at a network marketing superstar, keep in mind that you are looking at someone who in one way or another has DRAMATICALLY changed the way he sees himself. On a deep inner level, they now see themselves as a person who can produce the result they seek.

So the question is, “How do you see yourself?” Do you see yourself as someone who can lead an organization of 10,000 members? Could he see himself receiving $50,000 a month from network marketing? On an even more basic level, can you see yourself as a magnetic personality that people want to associate and associate with?

Here’s the problem, most people in network marketing will quickly tell you that they are serious about achieving network marketing success, but deep down, at their core, they don’t REALLY believe that they can create wealth for themselves. themselves through network marketing. So in reality, most network marketers are having an internal struggle within themselves. On the one hand, they say they want and really want network marketing success. But, on the other hand, they don’t really believe that they can achieve it. Whenever that conflict appears, belief will always win.

So now the key question is: “How do we change the way we see ourselves?” Here’s a technique that will catapult your self-image to be consistent with your goals for network marketing success.

“It’s not the person you think you are that’s stopping you from reaching your goals. It’s the person you think you’re not.” Andrew Carnegie

If you’re a student of success, like me, you’re probably familiar with Napoleon Hill’s quote.Think and Grow Rich.” What you may not know is that Mr. Hill faced a lot of opposition when he set out to publish his book. At that time, the industrial revolution was on the way. When certain businessmen heard of Hill’s upcoming publication, some of them got together and met with Hill to prevent the masses from learning these secrets that they wanted to keep to themselves.

Of course, we can see that Hill went ahead with the book anyway, but here’s a story that I think may have been lifted from the original manuscript. I say that because I heard an original recording of Hill telling this story first hand. And as he related the story, he was adamant about the power of this technique. In fact, he made it very clear that this technique changed his beliefs and how he viewed himself in relation to success.

As the story goes, Napoleon Hill met with Andrew Carnegie to interview him for a college newspaper column that Hill used to write. After spending three days interviewing Mr. Carnegie, Hill was asked to spend 20 years of his life formulating the philosophy of success. Napoleon accepted the challenge, but was not sure that he could complete the task. Feeling the lack of faith, Mr. Carnegie taught Napoleon Hill a secret technique that he used on himself.

The technique is deceptively simple, but extremely powerful. Carnegie made Mr. Hill promise that, for the next 30 days, without fail, he would stand in front of his mirror, look into his eyes, and say, “Andrew Carnegie, I, Napoleon Hill, will be more successful than you! ” (I’m paraphrasing there, but you get the gist.)

At first, Napoleon Hill said that he felt like a farce saying those words to himself. The first time he did it; he mumbled it so his sister, who was sleeping in the next room, wouldn’t hear him. But Mr. Hill kept his promise. He continued to do the technique every morning. Soon, he was looking at himself and saying the words with more power. Something in his mind changed. He began to believe what he was saying. He began to see himself in a completely different light. Napoleon Hill continued to use this same technique for all his purposes. If he felt that he was doubting himself about something, he would go back to the mirror and talk to himself, he would convince himself that he had what it took to make it happen.

If you know anything about Hill’s story, it’s one of America’s greatest success stories. Hill’s work, to this day, still impacts millions of lives. Go to any bookstore in North America and you will find the Napoleon Hill collection of books. Although he passed away in the 1970s, he remains a best-selling author who has changed the world for the better.

So you may be thinking, “Mike, are you saying that I should stand in front of my mirror and talk to myself?” If you don’t believe in yourself to make your successful network marketing goals a reality, YES, that’s exactly what I’m saying! And, don’t get me wrong, I know that many of you reading this will not go along with what they consider to be such a simple and foolish idea. I know many will let feelings of discomfort, the same feeling Hill felt the first few times, get in the way of his success.

I am not here to convince you of the power of this technique. I’m just the messenger here. I’m posting it for whoever really wants to change the way they see themselves. Understand that without a change in his self-image and what he believes he can do, his results will remain consistent with his beliefs. Do you want to change the results?… Change the beliefs. Growth always starts from the inside out. Changing actions on the outside will never lead to success unless you first change on the inside.

me challenge you to challenge yourself. Rediscover your network marketing success goals. Take a look at yourself and see if you can really see yourself achieving these goals. Examine your beliefs. If your beliefs don’t support you, consciously align your beliefs with your goals, get to work, and then just step back and let the magic happen.

Don’t walk away from this challenge. Remember, successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do. Transform your internal images and beliefs to be in tune with your goals, and the things that today you consider a struggle will automatically transform into your success.
