Invest in a mind-body-spirit connection for success in business and at home

In these challenging economic times, people often wonder how to effectively invest their financial resources.

However, people often overlook the value of investing in the integration of your body, mind and spirit as a way to generate prosperity.

When we nurture and integrate these three integral parts of ourselves, body, mind, and spirit, our ability to align with God’s blessings and abundance increases.

These three strategies can help you invest in yourself every hour of the day.

Body

Integrate the gentle movements of Chinese yoga every hour for five minutes and you’ll find your energy levels are higher, stress is less, and aches and pains are significantly lessened.

Fuel your body with nutritious whole foods with plenty of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and lean meats.

Invest in regular bodywork, acupressure, chiropractic adjustments to keep your body in good shape. People often ask me how I keep my body so fit and toned at the age of forty-six. In addition to Chinese yoga and tai chi, I attend maintenance bodywork sessions at least once a month.

Mind

Chinese yoga and tai chi create a moving meditation process that helps you focus your mind and develop clarity.

We know the importance of a positive mindset for success. All it takes is an investment of five to ten minutes, several times a day, with mindfulness training (breathing deeply while focusing on positive affirmations and self-talk) to help condition our brains into an alpha wave state, the state associated with deep peace, clarity and bliss.

When we engage in this positive self-talk regularly, it improves self-esteem, enhances clarity around our goals and what we want to achieve, and increases our ability to manifest prosperity.

Spirit

When we move our bodies through the postures of Chinese yoga and tai chi with the understanding that each movement is a prayer connecting us to the divinity of the Lord, then our spirit grows and we experience a true integration of our human forms with our spirit forms.

This weekend in Austin, Texas, the city is celebrating Free Yoga Day with more than 200 free classes across the city. Come and experience Chinese yoga taught in an integrative and prayerful way on September 6, 2010, Labor Day.
