Broadband Awareness – Ten Myths Exposed

In this article I will expose ten myths surrounding the personal development industry and why Broadband Consciousness is gaining a reputation as one of the best in the field for creating the life you want through inspiration, awareness, and higher levels of awareness. . These ten myths will blow the lid off the personal development industry. The tricks and tactics used or not used to protect your income and allow you, the reader, to make a better informed decision when choosing your next personal development course and ultimately choosing your destiny.

As someone who has amassed a collection of Bob Proctors personal development books, DVDs, and studied material (as featured in ‘The Secret’), I wanted to see for myself why everyone was giving rave reviews about Richard Wilkins with his partner and co-founder Liz Ivory. . Even before exposing the 10 myths, I was pleasantly surprised that the Broadband Awareness Open Day in Northampton, UK included tea, coffee and lunch. Now, I have traveled to many seminars and the most you get is a glass of water. I didn’t even care if I ate lunch, because I was on a diet!

When Richard Wilkins took the stage, with his pin-pin pink jacket and wavy white hair, he reminded me of Professor Dumbledore from Harry Potter. Unlike other seminary speakers who wear suits and boots, Richard Wilkins wore a pair of jeans and sneakers. However, he didn’t just expose one myth about the personal development industry, he exposed many. Here are my top ten:

Ten – It is not NLP, Weekend Retreat, Meditation, Prayer or Positive Thinking. It’s not firewalking, hypnosis, chopping karate boards, sweat lodge retreat, law of attraction, and onion peeling! Nor is it Self Torture with a wrist strap. It’s also not some high-energy rah, rah event that will flatten him once he gets back home.

Nine – “Reading self-help books or watching ‘The Secret’ isn’t going to be enough either! Although well-intentioned, they make you feel good, just for a while.” I have a collection of personal development books on my shelf and I remember feeling good once I read them. With so many of these books, you are left wondering what to do next. What do many people do? They go and buy another book. Some will follow another course.

Just like Liz Ivory did, spending over £50k traveling the world, taking course after course. In her own words “I have done more courses than a thoroughbred racehorse”

Eight – “What would you choose to hold on to, a comment or a compliment?”

In my head I said ‘compliment’. Liz Ivory continued with “Most people will say they would hold on to a compliment, when asked what are they really holding on to? – Almost everyone will hold on to a criticism! We have been influenced to accept that this is the case and we just don’t they are choosing” “Why would we choose to hold on to something that makes us feel bad?”

Seven: “Name someone you’ve never met who you absolutely admire and respect?” The normal answer would be Gandhi, Nelson Mandela or Richard Branson. “Why do you respect these people?” “It’s because we know their history.” “Earning respect isn’t about seniority, grade, or salary! It’s about getting to know the person and their story.”

Six – Real life testimonials. In all the seminars I have attended, none of them did the following. Richard Wilkins introduced several people who had done Broadband Consciousness, this was the first time he had seen graduates of any course take the stage, some more nervous than others, and tell it in their own words. Even universities don’t do this.

A lady had suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), not anymore. A man took anxiety pills for 20 years and stopped taking his prescribed medication in a matter of weeks. Another was diagnosed with ‘Degenerative Eye Disorder’, this was not a misdiagnosis, the ophthalmologist could not believe that the eye disorder had corrected itself.

Another was a CFO who quit his position to pursue his passion, which is making movies. This guy is having a movie soon and he’s signed some big names! Next up was a lady, who talked about how wonderful her relationship had become after Broadband Consciousness.

Five – “It’s not knowing the hundreds of things you can do to improve your life, it’s the only thing you can do that will set you free, to your infinite source.” Many self help courses or books give you lists and lists of things to do, Richard Wilkins and Liz Ivory claim it’s just ‘One’.

Four: The reason so many self-development books, DVDs, and courses ultimately fail is because they work to correct people on a behavioral level, not an identity level. Richard Wilkins later mentioned, “It’s just as easy to enjoy the future of it before it happens as it is to worry about it.”

Most people will worry about the events of tomorrow even though they haven’t happened and if they had to think and imagine to enjoy the future before it happens then we wouldn’t have the civil war going on between our ears.” Broadband The Consciousness works on an identity level.

Three: they will work with you. If right! Richard Wilkins and Liz Ivory will teach you, in a maximum group of ten and over five days. Most of the other courses last a weekend, with twenty or thirty people and at least double, if not triple the price! Other courses are distance learning via the Internet. Most courses do not allow open access to their course directors. Richard Wilkins and Liz Ivory will be working closely with you.

Two: they’ll show you ‘the how’ – other courses will take your money and give you the ‘list’ of things to do. No course in the world will take you by the hand and show you ‘The How’.

One: I know from intellectual study and even the way our memory system works, if it’s not reinforced regularly over a period of time, most learned material will weaken over time.

All the real life testimonials mentioned a key ingredient of why Broadband Consciousness works. They all revealed “This gets stronger with time.” Richard Wilkins, the self-proclaimed ‘Minister of Inspiration’ and co-founder of Broadband Consciousness, has created something incredible. What Richard Wilkins and co-founder Liz Ivory have created is a realization that is bigger than just the two of them! Even in his own words: “It’s hard to explain, but easy to understand.”
