With the flying squirrel you’ll have a chance to use a remote control similar to what you might use for paintball. It is controlled by a set of switches in the cockpit. And if you get tired of the controls then you just push a button, which opens up the parachute cup. It’s pretty amazing what propane does.
It also has a few handy accessories. For instance, the captain’s seat has a cup holder. The seats recline at a certain angle, and they’ll allow you to lay back for a good nights sleep. The seats also are very high, and are comfortable.
I like that the seats have such good support. As a first time user of a fully fledged electric RC plane, I was a little concerned about that. In the hands of an experienced pilot, they felt solid. If you’re used to piloting more flimsy things, you’ll be shocked by how much weight these things can take. You’ll find that they respond well to strong winds and strong batteries. It’s nice to be able to count on them.

The battery life lasted over ten hours between charges. That was quite impressive. But it may have been a bit too much for some people. So if you’re new to flying RC planes, it may not be as lasting as you’d hope. Or maybe you’ll just need more.
So here’s the thing when it comes to my flying monkey experience. If you’re looking for a simple, easy to use electric RC plane, then this is the one for you. It’s perfect for a beginner, it’s cheap and it’s fun. If you’ve never been seriously into RC flying before, this will give you an easy to get started point, and you’ll be ready for some serious flying in no time!
So what does this review have to say? Well, I found that it was easy to fly. My skills seemed to improve rapidly, while my excitement for the sport increased rapidly. And it’s very stable. It stayed over the air throughout my flights and didn’t pick up any speed that I hadn’t expected. It made everything go faster and smoother, which makes for a great first airplane!
I really liked everything about the flying monkey Delta range. It was fast, it was stable, it held up under high winds, and it had just the right amount of agility.
