Entrepreneur downtime: causes and solutions

My current state of mind inspired this. A part of me wishes that no one else would experience that.

The amount of time lost due to forces beyond your control is not uniquely associated with computers. As an entrepreneur, you would also experience times when you want to be free to think, organize, operate, plan, and / or manage. You just want freedom!

CAUSES

Boredom:

One of the most important things to consider in entrepreneurship is what you want to specialize in. Is it something you love to do or just something to make you rich? Entrepreneurship is not just about riches, but more about satisfaction – making some money from your hobby. If you like what you don’t love, your downtimes are likely to happen more often.

Lost

A business is all about profit and loss, expecting only profit is a wrong notion. Take every investment as a risk; it comes with gains, losses, or neither. Be open-minded to accept what turns out. That is one more reason why you should do a critical appraisal of companies before investing. Well, more losses, definitely more downtime.

Health

The well-being of the human body varies naturally. Health, as defined by the WHO, is not simply about illness or disease, but rather about a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. These health variations can also induce downtime.

SOLUTIONS

Exercise

Participating in any bodily activity that improves or maintains physical fitness and overall health and well-being is a vital aspect of the entrepreneur’s lifestyle. Keeps the mind and body active and helps eradicate downtime.

Reconsider your purpose

Downtime could be the result of not knowing why you are doing what you are doing. You need to ask yourself regularly, “why am I doing this?” to remind you of your purpose.

Adjust stressful schedules

Your stressful schedules should be kept to a minimum, at least during the downtime, from 10 meetings a week to 3 important ones. Remember that you can always go back to your normal routine after a while. But if you push too hard, the consequences can be great

Take fruits and vegetables

Eating fruits and vegetables has several health benefits. They help maintain the body’s system.

Go for a bit!

take it easy

Every normal human being needs seven to nine hours of sleep a day. Do not deprive yourself of sleep to prevent the law of KARMA from encountering your body, believe me, there is always a price to pay.
